Liverpool Horror Club is no stranger to screening cult movies at innovative events. Previously LHC have screened The Thing, Return of the Living Dead, Braindead and the fan favourite Terrifier which featured interviews with the director and Art the clown himself.
This month however they are chewing as much as they can bite off as they are screening 3 movies under the Scalarama umbrella.
Scalarama is an annual event that lasts an entire month and promises a screening a day throughout September. 3 of those days are hosted by the Liverpool Horror Fest and include horror movie royalty.
First up is the rare, hard-to-find classic Intruder and features your favourite cast and crew from Evil Dead 2 including Ted Raimi and a cameo from Bruce Campbell.
This is another golden opportunity for us to provide some gorey artwork and another great opportunity to use the iPad.

We have to give credit to Procreate's organic painting effects. We love the natural look off some of the smudging.
We would love to keep the artwork clean and force people to read the text within the blood... But frankly it's too visually complicated and the film is too much of a rarity to guess from the artwork alone. This version is our super minimalist attempt.
Seems almost a shame to cover that perfectly quaffed quiff but having a floating head over the building felt a little too cheap
Gotta love a good Dutch angle (when it's done right).
LHC liked our idea of the tickets being designed to be portrait. This allowed us to show off the grizzly artwork in all its drippy glory.
The only rule was that all the films should have tickets designed in that format. Challenge is on
